Friday 1st August - Today the electrical sub-station in the town where I work exploded at around 9.28am, which meant we had no electricity, no phones, no internet and most importantly no friday chips. It did mean I could start my weekend early though as fire engines rushed by I got to leave at lunchtime and drive up to Leeds.
