Friday 14th November – I woke up with toothache today and had to make a trip to the dentist (I hate the dentist, more than clowns) but luckily my friend came with me and nothing had to be done that day…but I had to make an appointment for a later date to get the tooth removed.

Wednesday 12th November – I was going out for an evening of camp cabaret and 96p drinks in honour of the Castle pub ’s birthday and was going to try my very best to stay reasonably sober and not make too much of a tit of myself – as I always seem to do when I go there!

I, along with most of the population, had written ToL off a long time ago and hoped they'd never come back, but they have. This is their second album and I told myself to give it a fair shot and not pre-judge. I needn't have bothered - this is childish school band 'rock and roll' with lyrics to match, I actually couldn't finish the album (sorry Mark).... 24-Nov-2008 Imelda May – Love Tattoo (Ambassador Records) Why has it taken so long for an album like this to be released? With the re-emurgence of burlesque and old-fashioned glamour and rock and roll nights popping up all over the country it wasn't going to be long before a singer-songwriter appeared making music in the same vein.
