Saturday 16th January -

I was DJ-ing tonight at The Bridgehouse at Crash & Burn for the first time ever and was very nervous! I had enlisted the help of a friend of mine DJ Psyx, a regular at Norwich's industrial goth night Exile, to help me arrange the tracks I had picked into a good,playable order.

I had some Depeche Mode, Numan, Mesh, Blacq Audio, Pitschifter, Prodigy and Tweaker as well as some excellent Bowie remixes so I felt confident in the music just not my DJ-ing abilities! Got there after a pint in the Playhouse with my dread falls and my favourite cyberdog trousers on, and DJ Mikki showed me the ropes which, after a few songs, were fairly simple! Thank goodness!

My sets seemed to go down well and people were dancing and enjoying themselves (I know I was) and one girl even came up afterwards and said it was a great set!

After the Bridgehouse closed some of us headed down to Hades back for Rival and danced to some very dodgy classic cock-rock, then home. A very satisfying night all told!
