Sunday 6th September -

 

I had been asked by Devolution Magazine to cover this years London Edge, the biggest UK trade show for alternative fashion, so I packed my laptop and headed down to London.

 

I had called my friend Carly and she had agreed to take photos for me and after travelling for 4 hours it was nice to see a familiar and friendly face! I had never been inside London's Olympia exhibition halls and almost ended up in a gourmet food show instead! Inside LE there two floors of goth, emo, rock, punk, rockabilly, alt and club wear, as well as shoes and accessories...I was in heaven!

As we made our way round we tried to concentrate on taking pictures and asking questions rather than shopping - it was really difficult! We did manage to catch up with the lovely Kate from Kate's Clothing and bumped into Dom Smith, editor of dark music and culture magazine 'Sphere' who was covering the event as well. Aisling Grace was on the Limb clothing stand doing what she does best, looking glam and being generally lovely!
