Friday 7th August -

Was planning a (relatively) quiet night in with my friend involving ice cream, beer, movies and facials when I heard about my neighbours band playing at my local and my plans quickly changed and stayed that way for the whole weekend!

 

Sun of Cash are a Johnny Cash tribute band who also play country style covers of other songs and seeing as The Leopard was right on my doorstep we got our retro finest on and headed down. The pub was pretty packed and I managed to bump into Flamingo Amy (who is styling my hair for the Tattoo Festival next week!) and a few others, had a few beers and headed home.

Saturday 8th August -

Met a friend for some retail therapy - I felt fine, she, on the other hand, was a little worse for wear after our gig last night. Went to Black Lace and found a pink and black HellBunny corset for her and she felt much better! I got a nautical jumper by Miss Fortune which didn't suit the weather but suited me just fine.

After a trip to the Rock Collection we also had a Living Dead Souls halterneck dress, all in aid of the impending Norwich Boady Art Festival. After all our shopping we stopped for a pint in the Birdcage, met some friends, had a couple more beers, bumped into some more friends, got some chips and went to The Fat Cat for a change.

 

After a few more in there it was time to stumble home for some take away and tv movies.
